Neighbour keeps ringing our bell for her parcels at all hours, refused to have a civil conversation. How can I handle this?

At first, the couple tried to be understanding. But once it started happening multiple times a day, especially early in the morning, it became disturbing. Nobody should be expected to constantly accommodate another neighbor's needs when it begins affecting their daily routine.

How urgent can a package really be that makes you ring someone else's doorbell at 7:30 AM? There should be reasonable hours. People deserve peace and privacy in their home, and aren't available 24/7 to solve a neighbor's delivery problem. A problem that is not their responsibility to solve, in the first place. They're just doing a favor.

The couple's request was pretty reasonable. They were polite, explained the situation patiently, and they are actually right to feel bothered by this recurring incident. Most people would feel bothered in this situation. But the woman's response was incredibly dismissive. She didn't acknowledge their concern and instead acted as though she were entitled to access their home, time, and attention.

There is an easy way to fix the problem. She could correct the delivery instructions, add clearer details for drivers, or use pickup points. But she seems not to care about fixing anything; it's just easier for her to ring her neighbor's bell and have her package any time she wants. She seems to be perfectly comfortable with this dynamic, but this couple should really stop being nice and start returning those packages to sender.
