And you want to send it out to the world, because you are a creature of the internet, and this is what we do. This is what Twitter is for. Twitter is the perfect home for half-baked ideas. It's not the place to delve fully into nuance, unpacking all the various angles and details of a situation. That's much better left to your blogs, your Substacks, your Medium articles. There are plenty of places to be fancy-schmancy people with fancy-schmancy ideas. Twitter was made for uninformed takes only. Try coming to a Twitter thread to add some reasoned, well-thought-out arguments to the chatter. Someone will immediately call you something crazy in some Gen Alpha slang that you've never heard of, and you'll just have to continue with your day as if nothing happened.

This is the joy of Twitter, though. There is no use interrogating it completely because it doesn't hold up under scrutiny. It's completely bonkers, and should not be mistaken for the state of the real world. It should, however, be seen as what it is: a bouncy house full of bored people ricocheting little ideas off the walls.
