Guy 'Accidentally' Sends Cruel Message to Bumble Match, Proceeds to Act Like a Sociopath

“I hate it here”

Last Thursday, @samantha_roseeeee (who we will refer to as “OP” from here on out) shared an embarrassing text conversation with a guy called Jake, who tried to write off his rude comments as an “accident.” OP was so stunned by the exchange that she posted it to TikTok, where it amassed 10.8 million views, 1.3 million likes, and 22.5 thousand comments.

The comment section

Unsurprisingly, the comment section was full of support for OP and spicy roasts aimed at Jake.

The follow-up videos

In a follow-up video, OP bashfully explains that she posted the TikTok at work and didn't check on it until later, so she was surprised (and a little embarrassed) to find that her video had gone viral. In response to a question about what her reply to Jake's text was, OP says, “Nothing. I was quite literally too stunned to speak. And I still am...”

One of the top comments was from @mainlysmithey, who wrote, “What bothers me most is that him sending it to you seems secretly intentional... Like what kind of MONSTER does that?!”

In response to @mainlysmithey's comment, OP posted another video in which she added, “It's funny that you say that because that's exactly what I was thinking and that's why I didn't reply…or put any effort into getting mad or saying anything because I could have gone off on him, obviously…but I really feel like he did that on purpose and if he did then that's kind of like narcissistic craziness…I'm just not gonna ever reply and let him sit on that one.”

And then it got weird

OP might have been ready to move on with her life, but that doesn't mean Jake was. (That is, if “Jake” is even his real name…)

Unfortunately, OP had to make another TikTok update after receiving disturbing new text messages from Jake. In the video, OP shares screenshots of the text and says, “Oh my goodness…he's back and I think we are dealing with a sociopath.”

The saga didn't end there. In yet another follow-up, OP updates TikTok with some strange revelations. “I strongly think now that Jake is not really Jake,” OP theorizes, “and I do think that all this was intentional. I do, I sure do.”

With the help of TikTok, OP connected the dots and figured out that “Cody' is likely also ”Jake." Creepy!

The Cody/Jake reveal

After hundreds of comments begging OP to reveal “Jake," she finally gave in and posted a screenshot of a private Instagram account that allegedly belonged to the Bumble creeper. The account has since been deleted.

The saga gets picked up by CBS

OP's TikTok tale went so viral, that CBS' The Talk covered the story. On Monday, OP posted a video of her reaction to the TV segment in which she lip-syncs one of Maddy's iconic lines from Euphoria: “Wait…is this fucking play about us?”
