The employees who answer this girl's call don't even care what her motives are, she's so nice they'd give her the brand's entire stock if they could.

The customer service industry is a brutal place. Many employees simply spend their work days getting yelled at by strangers for things that were not even their fault. You'd think the unsatisfied customers calling them would understand that, but nope. It's always the fault of the unlucky customer service person who happened to get their call that day. Obviously, it was the customer service employee who made that cereal box give you a paper cut while you were opening it, Karen. Makes TOTAL sense…
One TikToker, however, is making the stressful day for customer service employees a little lighter—even though her intentions are completely pure. Grace Barrow aka @cgracebarrow has created a series on her TikTok account where she called brands she enjoys and tries to get free stuff from them by leaving a positive review. She gets lots of coupons from the companies she calls, but very rarely any free stuff. However, though she hasn't admitted to it yet, she continues the series maybe because every time she calls the customer service employee genuinely seems so happy about it.
After day four, Barrow posts a video saying she actually works in a call center herself—so she appreciates what she's doing for these employees on a personal level. She says her days are filled with constant complaints, and she wishes she would get more calls like the ones she's making.
“People can be so mean to me for no reason,” she says. “Part of why I call and give them a nice phone call, is because it makes my day when people call in and are really nice, especially if you've had a few bad phone calls in a row.”
You can tell these customer service people she calls are so surprised—they're not used to positive phone calls. A lot of the videos have awkward silences because the employee is sometimes too stunned to speak. But once it registers that she wants to leave a positive review, their voices sound so much happier.
Though it's debatable that the few things that she has gotten for free were from those calls and not the viralness of her videos, it's still a wholesome thing to do. Every customer service employee is happy for her 3 minute positive calls. What she's doing should probably be a whole other job title to help keep the mental health of customer service employees good.
