AirBnB Hosts Go to Clean One of Their Properties, Shocked to Find Tiny Dog the Previous Guests had Forgotten

We've all forgotten little things behind when we're traveling. A toothbrush, a phone charger, a pair of socks that got lost under the best, maybe even a pair of glasses that you now have to figure out how to get back. It's only natural, humans aren't perfect. But it's not as normal to leave a living thing behind. A TikToker who hosts multiple AirBnBs posted a story that is truly just bonkers. Apparently one of their recent guests left behind their tiny professional show dog by accident.

The TikToker said that they went to clean up and just make sure everything was ok in one of their properties after an AirBnB guest had recently left. They're used to finding small things that have gotten left behind by accident, but they definitely were not excepting a tiny dog to be waiting for them. The little floof black pup was staring back at them just as confused as the hosts.

Part 1 & 2

The TikToker said they reached out to the guests immediately to say they left their dang dog behind, but didn't hear back from them for a while. They were in the midst of trying to figure out what to do with the dog, because they would be unable to keep him. Before they had figured out whether to try and find this dog a new home or send it to the pound, the guests should back up after 45 minutes to get their dog back. Apparently, this pristine pup is one of their show dogs, which makes it even weirder that they had forgotten him.

The TikToker said it was all just a bizarre accident and they were happy to reunite the dog with his owners. But viewers think they should've kept the dog. One commenter said, “Are you kidding me? Don’t give the dog back to them. They don’t want that dog. Poor baby.” And another added, “Definitely worried about the dog, those people don’t deserve him back!”

Update:

When it comes to being a pet parent, forgetting one behind seems borderline abusive. So viewers are unsure that the AirBnB hosts actually did the right thing in returning the pup. But others think, it was just an honest mistake and the fact that they even brought their dog with them while traveling shows they care for him. The debate continues on within the comments.
