Mama cats have their parenting down to a science. It's not just all about feeding your babies, but's about rearing them. Just like dogs do with their puppies, cats teach their kittens how to play. For dogs, however, it appears to be more of a social interaction thing; for cats it feels more like they're trying to teach them how to hunt. The mama cat will exaggerate her reaction when her kitten pounces on them so that the kitten will build confidence in their pouncing abilities.
This TikToker's cat has made a child out of a very teeny tiny itty bitty smol lil black pup. Seriously, this dog is like the size of this cat's head. The TikToker, Hunter Ann, posts videos of them cuddling and this cat basically adopting this puppy as her own. The most viral so far however, is the mama cat playing with the pup. She plays with him as if he were a kitten and totally exaggerates her reactions to his attacks. It's absolutely adorable.
Mama Kitty vs Smol Pup

Mama cat said, “OH MY! OH NO! Puppy got me! I'm so so scared!” And little pup hops towards her like, “I am so ferocious!” Yes you are tiny pup, yes you are little lady.

One commenter said, “Ohhhhh 🥺🥺🥺 they’re so cute together that kitty has decided that puppy is HERS.” Another addd, “Aww. Such a kind hearted kitty. Having fun with the little dumpling…"

Though this odd couple is the one stealing the spotlight on Ann's TikTok, the content creator actually has over a dozen pets. When you browse through her page, it's like an animal sanctuary. All look so happy and loved. Of course this kitty has adopted this pup, she knows how important family is—especially since she was rescued by the TikToker off the streets.
