Greg King runs a rescue in Texarkana, Texas called “Greg King Canine Recovery.” They put 110% of their efforts into finding these abandoned or lost dogs and helps find them new homes or bring them back to their loving families. It's not easy work and they tend to often come across feral dogs that they need to rehabilitate. But just because the work is hard and long, doesn't stop them—they know the outcome is worth it.

The TikTok for the rescue that King runs posts lots of dog glow-up videos and series showing progress of rehabilitating dogs. One of their most well-known rescues was a dog who what shot in the head. The rescued found him and were able to save him. Now he's living his best life full of love. But it's his videos showing him using a drone to catch a lost dog that's really making him go viral. The video shows a drone pilot volunteering his tools and skills to help find a dog that had missing for some time now. In the end, the drone was able to find her and she was able to be reunited with her family.

Drone Recue pt. 1 & 2

TikTok is a perfect place to find dog rescues and even contribute through the app with donating money, showing them love on their videos, and sometimes they even provide links to Amazon wish lists and helpful charitable things like that. But because of the overwhelming content from dog rescues, it can be hard to catch the eyes of viewers. However, King's videos of using a drone is racking up the views—with one of the videos having almost 80k views.

It's not too often you see a rescue using a drone because that can be a huge expense. Usually the drone has to be donated and the pilot has to be a volunteer. King constantly gives praise to everyone who helps him out in the rescue, so he makes sure to give thanks to the commercial drone pilot volunteer in his video. King's rescue has found and rehabilitated many dogs at this point and he says in a video that it's his passion. It's a beautiful and stressful thing to do, but it makes the world a better place for sure.

Rescue Drone's View

The drone seems to be a very helpful tool in rescuing dogs, so hopefully, more drone operators will volunteer their time to this honorable animal crusade.
