TikTok is usually a place for silly little videos of Gen-Z dancing or Millennials sharing fun nostalgic stories. But every now and then a video goes viral that is simply just heartbreaking. Right now, that's the video going viral from the nursing student and certified nursing assistant (CNA) Madison Cole.

“Note to self: do not read this comment section unless you want to sob," one viewer said in the comments. The video is actually from a trend of people sharing something that simply broke them. In the trend, you share your sad story and mime stabbing yourself in the heart and turning the knife. It's a good way to get something hard off your chest, but man, the trend is melancholic.

Cole's video shares her hurt of having to watch a senior resident she cared for at a nursing home tell her husband of 75 years with tears in her eyes, “thank you for being my love. You can go, I'll be okay.” The video is enough to trigger some tears, but if you find yourself in scrolling through the comment section, you will find stories that will absolutely make you breakdown and cry.

“It’s 8 in the morning and TikTok decides I need to start my day in tears 😭," one comment said. “That is truly beautiful it’s the ultimate sacrifice telling a loved one they can go even though they are your everything it’s the most selfless act”

Each story is equally as heartbreaking. A lot of commenters are or were CNA's themselves, so they also had to witness these sad scenes on a regular basis. It truly shows on hard that job can be. Even grown men will cry after witnessing a patient in hospice say goodbye to their loved ones.

Reading these stories, it doesn't matter what your religion is, you're rooting for these loving couples to be reunited even if it's just in this comment section.
