Buzzfeed Just Got Burned By Some Lawyers

Russian tech executive Aleksej Gubarev was not pleased that Buzzfeed published an unverified dossier back in January. The dossier claims that Russia is in possession of incriminating information on Donald Trump - and specifically names Gubarev.

The Russian executive decided to file a libel lawsuit against the media company, which responded with an apology and the redaction of Gubarev's name from the dossier. While Buzzfeed is still struggling with the lawsuit, at least we have this entertaining mockery of the website's tendency to publish listicles and cat photos. Sometimes even lawyers can be funny.
