I did ED - awful about the termites! Considering you get inspected every year, they really move in fast and cause major damage :( I really hope the structural damage is not too bad. So not what you wanted for the New Year. In WA it was carpenter ants we had to watch for because we had cedar siding on the ouse and had a couple of infestations we had to have professionally treated. The product they used however was not direcly harmful to the kittteh and we just kept them in a back backroom for the day. Sounds like your holiday festivites lasted right on through the New Year. I bet that dinner you made was delish. Sorry you got laid low by the cedar pollen and hope you are feeling better. I was hoping your absence from here was bacuase of more fun things. Here it is junipers that can cause a lot of problems. Bryan and I had some issues with it last Spring and hope we are more used to it this year. Let mw know how the termite thing goes. xo

Boy that sure wasn't the response I was hoping for. If you can swing it in the future, try to be the one running off to Europe for a couple weeks rather than the one dealing with termites and illness. I hope to hear that you're recovered from ALL of the symptoms of the Cedar Fever. Of course I would expect Texas to have a particularly nasty type of termite. You guys do everything big there. I hope the treatment doesn't inconvenience you and the kittehs too much. It's too bad the damage is in the laundry room too. If you're going to have to freshen up a room it should be more fun than laundry. Things are quiet here so you haven't missed anything exciting on my end. Hope you get good news tomorrow

Thanks - getting a lot of mileage out of that one :) Been posted on three different sites. Made an enchelada breakfast casserole for brunch for family and friends yesterday and put out a bowl of that crazy good sasa and it got star reviews from all :)

I'm sure the security guards will appreciate being remembered and the gifts, too. I'm assuming that other than cooking, you're all prepped for the holiday. I have baking, cleaning and wrapping to do today in addition to another walk with Becky. With that many items on my to do list you can guess what I'll start with first...that's right...killing some more digital dragons. Sigh...it's a wonder I accomplish anything at all.

Fifty really is just about the magic mark for walking. I can still walk in t-shirt and shorts at that level and be very comfortable. I carry sufficient insulation on my own to make anything else unnecessary. We pretty much stick to the same route around the neighborhood though the dawn walk adds in some time on the school field so Becky can run. Another five kittehs with furrebber homes...woohoo! That will make a nice Christmas for some more families.

Tossing tortilla chips into the air with joy! It came and thank you so much! I have a culinary love affair with salsa and always picking up different kinds. And aprreciate the "medium." And the bowl and spoon are ossum. lub and hugz

At least the first half of the Niner game was entertaining. It's hard to invest much emotion at this point when we've played so poorly, missed the playoffs and every broadcast now focuses on speculation about where Harbaugh goes at the end of the season rather than the game itself. When the dysfunction is more of a story than the team it sucks. How the weather for your walks been? Which trails are you using these days?
