Bee Stings Are Nature's Collagen Lip Injections

Some people pay a lot of money to have collagen injected into their lips and look ridiculous. Others get stung by bees (for free) and get the same result. Here is a collection of pictures of people's lips after being stung by bees, and they are hilarious. I bet they wished they had got lip fillers after these disasters. For a creature so small, bees sure do cause a lot of damage!

Tumblr User Thinks Honey's Made From Bees

This is one of those wild Tumblr interactions that we sorely hope is nothing more than a devilish troll on the part of the one profoundly clueless Tumblr user. The dude suggests that honey comes from bees that have been squashed up in some kind of grinder device. Seriously, where do people read some of this stuff?

Check out some more gold from Tumblr with this thread about trade school and the point of tests.

Pets that had Run-Ins with Bees

Like people, cats and dogs can have responses to bee venom that can be mild to severe, but with the right attention and care they just swell up for a while and go back to normal. So for a while, you get an inflated dog or a cat with extreme lips. For some pet stories, here's a wholesome AirBnB with a neighborhood dog visitor as well as a Tumblr thread about a dog that figured out how to herd a lawn roomba.

All About The Birds And The Bees (Memes)

We're here to teach you all about the birds and the bees! With bird and bee memes, of course!

Why, what were you thinking?

We have a deep love for birb memes, this you probably already knew but what about some appreciation for our honey-makers of the world? We do not see a bunch of bee-related memes out there (besides the 'Bee Movie', which shouldn't exist), and that needs to change!

Otherwise, how will the next generation know all about the birds and bees if not through memes? Luckily, that's a thought for another time. We've got a beautiful blend of screaming birds and sweet, sweet stinging bees. Enjoy!

No Need To Panic Over 'Murder Hornets,' According To This Informative Thread

Recently it was announced that the Asian giant hornet, otherwise known as the "murder hornet" had been spotted in North America for the first time earlier this month. While many of us have been downright panicking over it, others have been doing their research, like this woman, who decided to draft up a Facebook post of the misconceptions about our new little yellow friend. We hope it puts your mind a little more at ease!

Interesting Facebook thread explaining why the threat of "murder hornets" is largely sensationalized | Marianne Alleyne Monday at 5:10 PM Dropping some more hornet knowledge (compiled multiple posts have seen come by today, including Annie Rich Thompson): | NY Times ran story this weekend which promptly echoed through local media outlets about Asian Giant Hornet which they so thoughtfully deemed murder hornet so doing, they have blown problem way out proportion.

'Murder Hornets' Are 2020's Latest Little Gift To Us

Is anyone even phased by anything anymore? At this point, news could break that an asteroid is barreling toward planet earth and literally no one would bat an eye. It seems that May's little "surprise" for us is the Asian giant hornet, or as it's more commonly being referred to, the "murder hornet" that was spotted in North America for the first time just a few months ago. Luckily these guys typically aren't aggressive toward humans, but they are known to decapitate honey bees with their horrifyingly large claws. On the bright side, perhaps this will encourage people to stay inside so we can tackle the pandemic going on? Thanks 2020!

Son Says He Hears Bees At Night, Parents Don't Believe Him, Stinging Ensues

The truth stings! This parent lived to regret not listening to their kid's warning cries about hearing a bunch of sketchy buzzing from the attic. Fast forward to the dreadful experience of getting stung by hundreds of bees, and you've got one very painful lesson in the making.
