Tiny Abandoned Kitten Almost Gets Pummeled by Cars on a Busy Highway, Passing Couple Rescue Him and Bring Him Camping

TikToker Whitney Shyu Gertiar and her husband recently adopted an abandoned kitten they found. The rescue story isn't your typical one, they didn't just go to a shelter when they decided they wanted to adopt. Fate brought this couple to this pour baby kitten. 

Gertiar and her husband were recently on their way to go camping. While driving on a busy highway the husband saw something out of the corner of his eye that instantly made him pullover. He hoped out of the car and then ran into oncoming traffic just to come back with an itty bitty tiny lil smol kitten in his arms. The little baby was obviously terrified, as was the husband who was shaking after putting his life at risk to rescue this sweet baby. 

They didn't want to end their plans of camping, but they instantly went to a near by vet to get the kitten checked. The four-legged baby turned out to be in tip top shape, other than being a little dirty and shook up, and he was instantly in love with his new humans. Instead of turning back home to figure out what to do with this little critter, they decided to take him camping with them where they the best time. Even their dog was happy to have a little kitty companion in the woods with her.

They named the kitten Axel and is the third cat to join their fur family. Now the couple have three cats and one puppy. They posted an update of Axel after having her home for two months and the sweet little baby is fitting in purrrfectly. He's become instant friends with the dog, in fact, dare I even say besties? I dare so. He's also gotten close to the other two kitties of the house, though it took a little longer for them to warm up to each other. The oldest cat seems to be the leader of the fur pack in the home, and shows Axel the rules of the home.
