Woman Locked Out Coerces Roomate's Cat to Open the Door, TikTokers Have Now Never Been More Impressed

Cats make great pets, whoever says otherwise probably sucks and cats know it, so they're mean to them. It's just cat science, ever cat person knows it. Cat sass is part of their charm! Plus, cats a smarter than you think. You can train them just like dogs to sit, and stay, and come, etc. And they can be just as cuddle as dogs, some would even argue that cats can be even more cuddly than dogs. 

TikToker Bailey Rubal recently went viral for something her roommate's cat did. We've all done the classic forgot out key. You get locked out and it's a whole thing. Usually, to easily remedy this situation, people will leave their key with a trusted friend and/or neighbor. Or, if you live in a nice neighborhood, you leave a spear key under the welcome mat or something. However, this TikToker seemed to have no contingency plan for such a dilemma. She was locked out and all she could do was wait for one of her roommates to come home with a key. 

While she was sitting on the floor outside of her door which she could not open, she heard her roommate's cat meowing at her from the other side. Half-jokingly she decided to see if she can get the cat to open the door. She gently tapped on the door to get his curiosity; she jiggled the handle to see if he'd swat at it; and she sweet talked him from the other side of the door. In the video, you can hear the cat trying to hit the door knob and meowing in the background as if he's saying, “I'm tryyyyying.”

Miraculously, the cat opened the door for her. 

TikTokers are already crazy about anything cat-content on the app, but this has really been impressing people. Even Bailey, the TikToker who made the video, is shocked when the cat opens the door for her. The cat just walks into the screen like, “are you f***ing serious, Bailey??” It's simply gold content! The door seems to be the kind that automatically locks when closed, but is still unlocked from the inside, so no turning of locks were needed. Still, the cat being the hero in this story is wild. Commenters are in awe and disbelief—one guy even called him a “Pawsmith.” lol We like puns here.
