If you're something of a paper airplane enthusiast, you'll know that different paper airplanes have different styles of flying. The jet style is best for - you guessed it - flying fast (and in this case, long distance). To beat all of your friends' paper airplanes, make this jet paper airplane to blow them all out of the water. You're welcome.

Take a piece of standard printer paper (A4 or letter) and place it horizontally on the table. Fold it in half long ways and press the crease down well.
Open up the piece of paper. Take the bottom right corner of the paper and bring it in to make the top of the paper meet the center fold. Press the crease down.
Do the same on the other side. Fold the top right corner in to meet the center fold.
Now take the bottom right edge and fold the length of the triangle to meet the center fold.
Do the same to the other side. Fold in the top edge of the triangle in to meet the center fold.
Place your finger on the center fold where the two folds of paper meet. Now fold the top of the paper (the pointed triangle) down, with your finger marking the middle of the fold. The end of the triangle should point over the bottom edge a little bit.
Smooth down the fold and flip over the piece of paper.
Take the bottom edge of the paper and fold the outside edge in to meet the inner edge of the diagonal fold.
Do the same to the other side. Fold the top edge of the paper to meet the inner edge of the diagonal fold.
Flip the paper over. Lift up the triangle back to point upwards. About an inch of the triangle will remain folded over.
Smooth the fold down and flip over the paper.
Take the vertical piece of paper in the center of the airplane and fold it down. There will be some resistance at the sides from the other folds, so make sure to not rip the paper. About 1 inch should be folded.
Fold the paper airplane in half, smoothing down the folds.
Take the top edges of the wings and fold down a small piece, about 2 cm wide.
Bring the front diagonal part of the wing down to meet the horizontal bottom edge of the airplane. This is folding the wing down.
Flip the airplane over and fold up the other wing so it matches the first wing perfectly. This will help it fly straight.
Open up the wings and the top flat edges of the wings. Your paper airplane is finished and ready to fly!
