Having kids is a really rewarding, selfless experience. Sometimes you're so selfless that you pay no mind to the fact that your kids don't acknowledge your existence. You're a grown adult, and being ignored by your own children doesn't hurt at all. Or at least that's what you tell yourself as you cry yourself to sleep at night.     Sounds like a really interesting case study! I thought that I've experienced blinding rage before, but maybe I'll never really know what it's like until I have kids on my own. Maybe I'll learn something about myself. Or maybe I'll just go completely out of my mind.
