Grieving is one of the hardest parts of the human experience. There is no one way to simply get over the loss of something or someone close to us. It can take 2 months or 2 decades depending on the person. During these times, we need more support from our friends and family than ever. But there's a line between leaning on your friends and fully taking advantage of them. At some point, we do have to pick up our feet and start to take care of ourselves on our own.
It was Reddit user u/Lillian3435543 who asked the 'Am I The A-Hole' community if they were in the wrong for telling their husband that they will not longer cook for their friend. Seems like an odd situation altogether, but we need more backstory.
Luckily the OP did provide us with some background. She and her husband have been trying to help their friend through his grieving process. But it seems that most of the responsibility got dropped onto the OP. Seems like a sticky situation already.
