One of the worst things to find yourself dealing with when you're just trying to smoothly navigate your day's tasks is to have a boss who insists on micromanaging. Micromanagement is the worst. It usually seems to stem from some maddening urge for the person to control everything at once. Simply put, this isn't the most efficient way to get things done. It's impressive, really — too many people try to grin and bear it through a manager's unreasonable habits. This employee actively tried to circumvent them altogether.
