It's not imperative that our closest friends are besties with our significant others, but there needs to be some kind of underlying layer of respect at a minimum. No, you don't need endless lists of inside jokes, and intimate 'get to know you' plans to create a falsified close relationship. All you need is to trust that the other person makes your significant other/best friend happy and try to not create drama.
This guy clearly has some kind of issue with his wife's passion for makeup and likes to make fun of her with his friends. There are basically a load of flying red flags that can be found in this Reddit thread. How do we end up with such close-minded people? It honestly motivates us to never try the dating world again. Or perhaps that's just a little dramatic. It's just the way we feel after reading over this story.
