Heartwarming Photos Capturing Just How Much Cats Love Their Humans

We often get this question from people: how do you know that your cats actually like you? With dogs, it's really easy to see. Their affection manifests in a lot of ways similarly to the way that humans show affection to one another. But with cats, things are a bit different. Cats are a different species, and therefore, cats show affection to their humans in a different kind of way.

Some cats show affection to their humans in obvious ways, by cuddling up to us and spending time with us. Other cats - shy cats - show affection to their humans in less obvious ways, sometimes just by existing in the same room as their humans. And other cats… well, some cats show affection to their humans in cute yet mildly ridiculous ways. All you have to do to know if your cat loves you is pay attention. Eventually, other than the obvious signs - like the slow blinking and showing you their booties - will become clear to you over time.
