'Based off our interactions earlier [...] I'm not renting to you': Enterprise employee epically quits after rightfully denying business to a rude Karen customer

Here we are again with another Karen in the wild. It's 2022, you think they'd invent a cure to becoming a Karen at this point… Or maybe that's just therapy? Anyways, the best way to deal with a Karen is to not give them what they are throwing a tantrum for and to find a job that either doesn't have you dealing with Karen customers or at least pays you enough to.

Recently, an employee at the rent a car establishment Enterprise dealt with a Karen beautifully. She came to rent a car, but needed to go to the bank first, so he so kindly drove her to the bank and then back to the Enterprise so she could rent this car. However, the entire time she was berating him with insults. When they returned to the offices, he made a call to his manager to ask how he should deal with this. The manager told him it was up to him, so he came back and kindly told her that he is reserving the right to deny her business.

She, of course, was not happy about that and said that he was “discriminating” against her because she is white and “white lives matter," and that she was going to take this to television because she was so terribly offended. I don't even need to get into how extremely messed up everything she said is, but you can see why this employee would choose to refuse her business. He never raised his voice or used vulgar language, he just said it matter of factly, “it is my discretion whether I want to put you in a vehicle or not and I'm choosing not to.”

To add the cherry on top to this exemplary way of dealing with a Karen customer, the employee then posted an update to his social media saying soon after the Karen situation, he quit his job at Enterprise and followed his dream of moving to Atlanta. He not only perfectly dealt with a horrible Karen customer, but also decided that he deserved better than sitting at a job where he has to take insane tantrums from customers like that. We applaud you, Trey.
