We absolutely love wedding season. What's not to love about two lovebirds coming together? Besides the fact that we're not the ones getting married, but today isn't about us. It's about the adorable couple in love. Of course, nothing is perfect. Even though weddings are wonderful affairs, there are many traditions that have come to be considered outdated. For example, the garter toss originated in the 14th century in France as the bride and groom had to show proof of consummating the marriage after the wedding night. In today's world, it's entirely unnecessary. In today's AskWomen post, women discussed traditions that people need to stop doing at weddings, the garter toss being one of many.
