'I've had the same conversation 6 times': Infuriating customer service bots provide 'worst customer service ever,' customer stuck in endless loop

It all starts with the chat box of an app.

The OP explains that this cab company isn't able to find the correct booking - so they contact the car service for help. 

Then the conversation begins… and it's quite the long read as this chat goes south fast. 

OMG, I'd be so annoyed too! The bot just drops OP's convo and starts it over. From. The. Beginning.

The chat bot insists it's not a robot. With the amount of typos, it's hard to tell!

 

Ok here's where OP probably started crying - because the app suggests a 5 day waiting period for the app to fix their account. But the flight takes off the next day!

It's a battle now: app versus human. 

The chat bot straight up tells this person that they can't use the app anymore. 

 

It's insane! The poster must have been losing their mind, waiting to catch a flight just hours ahead, as they get stuck in the chat bot loop. 

So now. 

Not only has ‘Jason’ scolded the OP for some light cursing (OP is very justified, IMO). But the app is still telling OP that they just can't get a ride for five days. That will be super great for when they invent time machines, and completely useless currently to anyone who needs to get themselves to a dang airport on time. And to top it off, here's 10£ in compensation, which is basically the cost to get in the door of a taxi, let alone get to a destination. 

Here we can sense the OP's frustration and desperation as they spell out Jason's name.

But with this incantation, suddenly Jason disappears!

Ashley! A new support staff member enters the chat, but can they salvage the burning wreckage of this chat gone wrong?

And all of the sudden, Ashley seems to have disappeared too! OP calls for Jason once more…

That's it! That's where the convo ends. But OP did provide an update on the insane situation. And good news!

They made it to their flight
