It's official, millennials have reached the “pass the torch” phase of their lives. Now, instead of holding our nostalgic items close and using them to stroll down a happier time, memory lane, we're gifting them to the kids who are the age we were when we originally appreciated these items. We're not talking TY Beanie Babies over here. We're talking about the precious binder of Pokémon cards. Every millennial who collected Pokémon knew they had to have them all, so they definitely had a binder for their cards and it was their most prized possession.

This passed Christmas, a millennial uncle gave his 11-year-old nephew his binder of Pokémon cards and this Gen-Alpha reacted exactly how every Pokémon playing millennial could have hoped for. You'd think, Gen-Alph, the most recent generation, it even still has one more year to go to be a generation, still loves and appreciates Pokémon just as much as the original Pokémon generation did. It truly warms the heart.

The second the kid unwrapped that present and opened that binder and saw those precious cards, he burst into tears. Remember when you finally got the Pokémon card you had been searching for or trying to trade? It was like the heavens opened and trumpets started to play. It was the best feeling ever. We can still hear the angels singing. It is more than comforting to see that kids now also feel that way. …We're not tearing up, YOU are!
