This is a heartwarming story for the books, I Can Has-ers. Meet Rademenesa, a street cat that was saved in Norway by an animal shelter. He was diagnosed with an inflamed respiratory tract when he was 2 months old. Luckily, he survived and has continued to live his life at the animal shelter. Not only that, he likes to lay with other sick animals (dogs, too!) and help "nurse" them back to help.
Whoever said cats have no heart, they clearly haven't med Rademenesa. We've never seen something so cute, so heartwarming, so touching before in our lives. Those poor sick animals must be so scared, and to have a little calm buddy by them while they're sick must make all the difference. We would be happy to have him as our nurse, and we're 100% sure he would help us get better. Look through the photos below if you're ready for some wholesome overload!
We really hate to see these pictures of sick kitties and doggos, but we're happy that Rademenesa is there to be with them. Actually, there is science behind it! Cat purrs are calming and soothing (to humans at least) and help us release certain chemicals in our body that help de-stress us. It probably helps this little guys too!
He even helps the really big kitties, with weird faces and tails. He snuggles up next to them, purrs, keeps them warm, and makes sure that they don't feel alone in a strange place. He's a good guy. Thank you, Rademenesa!
