Friends give you open ears when you are going through a break up. Besties add your ex to their sh*t list and will never ever forgive them even if then completely change themselves and you have forgiven them. Besties make sure that your ex feels the shame of losing you for the rest of their lives. It's just part of the BFF contract. We don't make the rules. How far are you willing to go for your bestie?
A dude on on Reddit recently shared a story of how he helped his ex during a hard breakup. His bestie had recently broken up with his girlfriend after he found out she was cheating on him. OP's bestie was completely torn by this and his heart was shattered into a million pieces. As his bestie, OP was there for him trying his best to help pick up the pieces again. It was upsetting to OP to see his friend suffer like this, and he knew he would never ever forgive his bestie's ex for putting his BFF through this.
So when OP saw his besties cheating ex at Target he tried his best to avoid her. However, it was to no avail and the ex approached him to say hi. OP quickly tried to exist the conversation because he absolutely despised her for what she did to his dear friend. But before he was able to turn around he noticed something that enraged him even more. The cheating ex was wearing his bestie's hat. He even asked her if that was his friend's hat and she admitted to it like it was no big deal. Before rational thinking could take over, he did what only a bestie can get away with, he grabbed the hat right off of her head and made a run for it. He even retorted back an amazing burn that completely roasted the cheating ex as he made his getaway with the hat.
