It's important to know whether the person you're dating has kids from a previous relationship. At this point in my life, that would probably be a dealbreaker for me. I don't think I have the emotional capacity to be a nefarious stepmother yet. I do not want to end up on a mattress in the middle of a lake because of two red-headed Lindsay Lohan-looking ragamuffins. Some people might be into that, but I want to wait until I'm at least 28.
