I am obsessed with going to the medieval section of an art museum. The paintings have such a unique visual style that is unparalleled by any other era of art history. First of all, there is so much gold. Yellow is my favorite color, and I love gold jewelry, so this is a major boon. I also love that medieval canvases are often a unique shape.
