'I offered a solution': Student demands algebra teacher regrade paper, teacher gives her lower grade

This student was very insistent about her grades… maybe she should've also been a little nicer to the professor, though. 

U/Ancient_Educator_76 is a college professor who is, in their own words, super petty. However, they claim they're also nice to their students, and since they realize their students are trying their hardest, they tend to be kind when they're grading papers and tests. It's all about manners, though. The professor has a student named Mara who asks inane questions, interrupts the lessons, and alters her tests and quizzes to make it seem like the teacher messed up their own grading. It's easy to see why the professor wouldn't be making any special exceptions for a student like that. 

Teachers deserve the world, yet they so often get stuck with students who have no respect for their profession. It seems like every class has one student who becomes the teachers' nemesis by asking personal questions to derail the lesson, or just being unkind. The OP has a lot of patience to put up with someone like her.
