There are some people in this world who have been raised and reinforced with such entitlement that when they want something, no amount of reason will convince them that they can't have it. One has to wonder how one's mind can be so brainwashed to be able to think that you can have just about anything. Unfortunately, enough people out there seem to be mentally engineered this way and there's not much we can do to stop them. It's only a matter of time before you just have to get the cops involved.
In this thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/TalesFromRetail subreddit, the author of the post worked in a store in a fancy college town filled with entitled students and even more entitled parents. One day, she was packing up to leave and planted her handbag on the counter while she put her coat on. Bad move! An entitled Karen noticed the bag and asked how much it was. Despite OP and another employee's repeated attempts to explain that this was not for sale, Karen wasn't having it. Eventually, the police got involved. You would think at this point that Karen would give up, but nope! She went a step further and now claimed the bag was hers all along and the employee was trying to steal it!
