  • Had a four top(two couples) come in a half hour before close. 3 of the 4 ordered alcohol, so obviously I ask for their id's. Two of them had theirs and one did not but had a
  • picture of it on her phone. I said sorry I can't serve you and she was fine with it but everyone else at the table was not.
  • Grab their drinks and drop them off, they ask to talk to a manager because "they have more pull" Anyway he comes over and tells them the exact same thing I did.
  • I take their order and go put it in. They go up to the bar and try ordering her a drink from the bartender, well she obviously says no as well. After this they are fine and don't complain.
  • They cash out and leave, stiff me on one tab and tip 5 on 43 on the other. They wrote on their receipts to serve adults next time.
  • Well they took the salt and pepper and dumped it all over the floor(which is carpet) and took all the wet naps. Dumped salt on the table and put water over it, put salt on top of the booth, threw napkins on the
  • floor. You want to be served alcohol because you're an adult but definitely didn't act like one! Worst table I've had in the 10 years I've been serving!
  • Open_Line6979 OP 1 day ago They said where I work has more rules than anywhere else. I said well it's not our rules is a state law lol.
  • BoringBob84 22 hr. ago They said Of course they did. They weren't going to admit that they took a picture of their license and altered the birth date with Photoshop.
  • 85percentthat itch. 20 hr. ago I check IDs at the door of a popular bar. People try this a few times an hour.
  • Hobbiesandjobs. 14 hr. ago I'm over 50 (and it's very obvious) and when I go to the grocery store and want some beer I still need to show my ID. Do I get mad? No, it's the law.
  • Johan_13 1 day ago Absolutely humans. That said, if that's your worst table in 10 years, you are truly blessed. 87 ↓ Reply Share Open_Line6979 OP. 1 day ago Yeahh that's true!!
  • azulweber 22 hr. ago if only that were the case. i work in a bar that is 21+ and municipal law says we have to card everyone regardless of how old they look.
  • you would be shocked at the amount of people that are 30 or older and not only somehow go out to a bar without any kind of wallet but also lose their requiring ID. over us
