Wild Dolphin Starts Throwing a Basketball Back and Forth with a Group of Friends Who Dropped Their Ball In the Water, Goes Viral

Imagine you're walking by the water on your way to throw some hoops with your pals with good ‘ole butter fingers and accidentally drops that ball in the water. You would be pretty bummed about it, wouldn't you? What if you got a little aquatic friend to help you? The tides would surely turn then! 

That's what happened to one group of friends recently who has now gone viral. The video was sent by one of the guys to his son and his son posted it on TikTok saying, “my dad and his homies found a dolphin.” 

But this wasn't your normal dolphin sighting…

One of the guys seemed to have accidentally dropped the ball into the water. They spotted the dolphin and jokingly started asking it to throw it back, with zero expectations. But to their excited shock, the dolphin did throw it back. The dolphin did not just return their ball, he looked at them pleadingly as if he wanted to have a catch with them. So the guys happily obliged and started playing catch with a wild dolphin. 

You can hear the men's excitement and amazement in the video, and you can see how happy the dolphin is. Maybe that aquatic mammal was a basketball player in another life or at least one of the guys.
