Hey, ATLA superfans. Whatever your thoughts on the Legend of Korra were, we have to give our props to Korra for forging her own path and becoming her own avatar. Sure, she had her downfalls, but she did the best she could, and we shouldn't compare the problems of one avatar to another. A lot of people say that LoK doesn't live up to The Last Airbender, but they really pushed the boundaries with Korra, and we have to respect that. They pushed the boundaries with relationships as well, and we can't write about LoK without writing about Korrasami.
The big hint that the creators dropped at the end with Korra and Asami walking into the spirit world together, holding hands, was not something many people missed. The creators came forward and said that yes, it's true, Korra and Asami do end up together. Listen, haters are going to hate, but we love this for them, and we're happy to see some LGBTQ+ representation in popular media, especially in a show designed for "children". Scroll down to see the internet's hilarious take on Korrasami in meme form, it's just as funny as it is queer.
