Even though they have one of the most important jobs, teachers don't get the appreciation they deserve. Luckily, there's a week just for that: Teacher Appreciation Week. It's the time when students and their parents are supposed to be extra kind to them. And many administrations will give their teachers presents to show them exactly what they think of them.
Some of the gifts given by the administrators are just sad. You can tell they had a shoestring budget to gift the teachers with, so they gave them the cheapest things they could find. I mean, they were creative when they gifted one teacher some bubble wrap. But is that really a useful gift? Most teachers probably didn't pop any of the bubbles—they probably just tossed it right in the nearest trash can.
Other teachers shared the gifts they got that were a little more thoughtful than that. Some were gifted tiny candy bars. Others got office supplies. Teachers deserve the world, and they get snack-sized candy instead.
After you check out these teacher appreciation gifts that won't make anyone feel appreciated, read about some other bad gifts, like the person who got a "used sweater with spaghetti stains."

As if it's not stingy-looking enough, they instruct the teacher to pop three bubbles? Just three? For the kids these days? I think they're going to need a bigger bubble wrap sheet.
Apparently, this gift was "straight from the school board." Thanks, you shouldn't have.
"It was a bunch of tiny trinkets wrapped in tissue paper," u/Moonlightprincess36 writes. Just what every teacher wants, a tiny wooden star and some dice (???).
…I hope they didn't tell the teachers that they were getting a "payday and 100 grand," only to give them two snack-size candies.
They note that they usually have to "pay out of pocket" for these things. One bottle of glue and a few pencils just isn't enough for the whole class.
… But they also barely cost anything.
The administration must've been like, "Let 'em wash their hair once and floss their teeth a little bit." How generous!
It's "you're the best." Grammar aside, these cookie cakes look delicious.
