A wise woman once said, "Expectations are premeditated resentments," and I'm inclined to agree with her. If you go into a situation thinking it will go perfectly smoothly at every junction, you will be much more upset when things don't go your way. When I was a kid, I would imagine how a social event would go while in the car on the way there, and when my vision didn't materialize, I would really feel that sting of disappointment. Now that I'm not ten years old, I'm able to go into every situation with the neutrality that they deserve. Sure, some experiences are more high-stakes than others, but if you hype them up to oblivion, that's a recipe for disaster.
Maybe saying that these memes won't disappoint is setting expectations too high. I don't know what would constitute disappointment for you, so you better scroll through these memes with little presupposition.
