Woman Demands Husband Keep Her Family Company Despite Him Working From Home, He Refuses and Rents a Different House to Work From There Instead
Some people find it hard to understand that working from home still means having to work. Even though you are home, you are still required to do your job, and other than not having to commute and possibly working in your pajamas, it is not so different than working from the office.
My husband, for example, has a hard time letting me work whenever I work from home and he is there. He will constantly come and talk to me, sometimes even while I am in the middle of a meeting. I always have to remind him that while it's great that both of us are home, I still need some peace and quiet to actually do my job.

OP (original poster) had enough with his wife and her family during their visit, after they all insisted he keep them company during the day, despite him having to work from home. It had gotten impossible for him to actually get any work done from his own house, so he ended up renting another one just to get away from the family.
