There are, according to The International Cat Association, at least 73 different breeds of domesticated cats but when it comes to most of us who love them, we don't need to know more than a couple of things: what color they are, and how goofy they are. While the colors may vary, the goofiness is built into pretty much every feline. It's just a case of how open they are about it. This is half the reason why cat memes are such a popular and enduring entity, the other reason being that cat people are usually suckers for all things internet humor. We're fortunate for both of these facts because it has brought the world a lot of hilarity over the decades. Cat memes may be an institution at this point, but they still have plenty of life left in them. There is just too much fun to be had for it to stop.
