It's crazy how he makes her double down on apologizing, but has yet to give one himself. She's already admitted her flaws and tried to make amends, she's bending over backwards for him and he's not giving her anything in return. In my opinion, this is even worse than him not taking an interest in her life. Someone can be indifferent, but this is just plain cruel and psychologically damaging.

I'm glad that the comments are rooting for her to dump him. No one should feel like they don't matter to their partner. Your romantic partner is supposed to be the one who's there for you through anything, and the bare minimum of a relationship should be that they take remote interest in you. At least she's out now before it goes on for too long.

“I will happily walk away from a relationship that isn’t serving me”: Woman sets boundaries with her perpetual victim boyfriend, reaches the courage to end a one-sided relationship with internet rooting for her
Ladies and gentlemen of the internet. It's 2025, we're all locked into apps, tech, AI, and windows into things we couldn't have learned as easily and fluidly 100 years ago. One of those things is relationships. Without the help of the internet to transfer information and anecdotes quickly, we may not have come to find out the red flags and dilutions that keep us attracted to what's not good for us, or hinder our ability to release ourselves from it.
If you're someone who's ever been affected by a relationship where you didn't feel empathized with, heard, understood, or like you even matter then this story might be for you. Perpetrators of love have the same qualities, and are almost like clones of each other, so pay attention to the telltale signs next time you meet someone who's love bombing you.
In the story below, the protagonist has been with her boyfriend for 10 months, and has seen several red flags. Namely, he doesn't take an interest in her life. This is definitely a quality of a narcissist, but on top of that, he doesn't take accountability for anything he does, plays the victim, and makes her double down on groveling whenever something is brought up between them. You'll have to read the full story below for all the details.
