Teen mom refuses to put son up for adoption against parents' wishes, cuts them off years later when they suddenly insist on playing role of grandparents: "They made their choice seven years ago"

If your kid has kids, you are not suddenly bestowed the title of grandparent. Technically speaking, yes, you are a grandparent, but if you want to be called "Grandma" or "Grandpa" by starry-eyed grandkids, you're going to have to put some work in. It's an important familial role, and it comes with many responsibilities to fulfil. Many grandparents play their role by helping out as much as they can; others do their best to spoil their grandchildren rotten and act as a foil to their own kids' attempts at parenting. The bare minimum, however, is to be present in their lives.

In our story today, a couple kicks their teenage daughter out when she refuses to put her baby up for adoption. Seven years later, they suddenly want to "reconnect" and be a part of their grandson's life.
