TikToker Is Going Viral For Her Videos About Her Star Wars-Nerd Dad Always Being Ready to Fight Someone Who Messes With Her

Parenting is a difficult job that requires a lot of patience and rolling with the punches. This TikToker's dad took the “rolling with the punches” part a little too literally. 

TikToker Katie aka @katiexxlilly is like many other people posting on TikTok. She follows the trends, has fun with it, and shares a little about herself along the way. One video that quickly went viral from Katie was her re-enacting a story from her teen years, when her dad almost got arrested at her high school. She had called her mom asking to come home because she was getting bullied. Then later she was told the school was on lockdown due to some guy threatening a teacher. And then moments later she saw that it was her very own dad. 

High School Drama:

After that video went viral, she started posting more stories of when her dad came to her aid. There were many about him cleaning his gun in front of the guy she was dating or some other macho dad tactic, but the next one to catch viewers attention was when she got fired. 

She had a job while she was in high school and specifically said she couldn't work during school hours (for obvious reasons). However, her boss seemed to overlook that and scheduled her during school. She said she couldn't work those hours and he fired her. 

Getting Fired:

The dad called up her boss to get his side of the story and the boss, very unprofessionally, calls this man's daughter a “dumb b*tch.” Oh boy, was that a mistake. The reenactment stories continue with her dad meeting with the boss, listing off his violations, and eventually ends with him pulling out a light saber… 

Wait. What? So he probably didn't pull the Jedi weapon out in the real story, but now you get to see that he's not only a tough guy, he's a huge Star Wars nerd!

Though the father is portrayed as this tough guy throughout all her videos, it's now revealed that he is also a Star Wars nerd until Katie posts a “dad reveal” video. Viewers are living for the combo of dad-who-will-literally-fight-for-his-daughter and total-Star-Wars-simp. 

One commenter said, “Not me coming from the school story to find an absolute NERD terrorized a teacher. I love the vibe here!” And another said, “the fact that he looks like the original Obi-Wan sets the entire mood.” Now, when you watch these videos, do you imagine a big scary man or do you imagine Obi-Wan going to this girl's school teacher and using the force against him?

Her dad also started his own TikTok, which only has one video. In it he compares a 1970's toy guy with a real gun from the '70s. He does this to clear up some confusion on a video his daughter posted about him as a child accidentally shooting his mom (she fully recovered). 

The best part about this tough dad's TikTok, though, is that it's @obi_dad-kenobi. Honestly, he does look very much like the actor who played Obi-Wan in the original movies. It's just hilarious that everything about this dad was so macho and then on top of all that tough guy act, he just really really loves Star Wars.

Every family is different and perhaps there are some issues this one has to work through or maybe they already have. Either way, we can all agree that a dad who has his kid's back is something every parent should strive for. Viewers are also hoping for some more nerdy dad Star Wars content, so hopefully that will be what goes viral next.
