In today's section of “wtf did I just watch” we now have a girl on TikTok absolutely losing it to accidentally spray painting a roly-poly potato bug. The video has almost two million views and it hasn't even been up for a week. Fellow TikTokers are absolutely loving the content in every possible way.

The simple video says so much by saying so little. It brings so many intriguing questions to the viewer. Commenters are coming in saying this is the “yassification” of roly poly bugs. Someone warned that some bug-enthusiast somewhere is going to find it and think they discovered some new species. Others are concerned about the livelihood of the poor little guy, saying his friends aren't even going to recognize him. Or they think the opposite and say he's going to return to the colony a *star*. Surprisingly, nobody is concerned for the actual well being of the bug. Where's PETA??

People are also very concerned for the TikTok creator. Why is she spray painting her tongs and does she know that once you've sprayed toxic chemicals on them, they are no longer safe to handle food? She leaves many viewers in the dark with questions unanswered and TikTokers unsatisfied. Also, how did the battle of which colloquial term—"roly poly or potato bug or pill bug"—not go down here? So TikTokers will fight you if you call their sandwich gross, but seriously debated linguistics is what goes over their heads?

Why is the video impossible not to watch more than once? Why is everything that just happened in this scene worthy of even mentioning? Viral is viral, dog. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

“He returned to the colony a ✨star✨ also don’t ask why gold tongs are better”:
