Woman Goes to Home Depot for Gardening Supplies, Ends Up Rescuing a Tiny Feral Kitten

When you go to the garden section of Home Depot you expect to see plants, tools, maybe even a butterfly or two that wandered in. You might hear employees giving DIY advice or builders looking for specific tools. What's not as common to hear is a kitten meowing; and what is not common to find is an itty bitty kitty mewing its little head off under some boxes.

That's exactly what TikToker @sweetsilv3r came across on her recent visit to the garden section. She went there to get some shades for her baby trees who were getting too much sun. While she was perusing the aisle she her's an unmistakable noise of a kitten's meow. She instantly goes on the search for this little guy and is meowing—quite impressively—back to try to attract the kitten to her or at least to get her to keep mewing so she could find her.

Part 1

She eventually narrows done the meowing to a spot under a shelf full of boxes. The kitten isn't in an easily accessible spot and seemed suspicious of her, so the TikToker kept making her incredible meowing noises to attract and comfort her. Eventually, the kitten crawled to a spot where the TikToker was able to scoop her up. The video went viral with cat lovers from all over TikTok. The viewers demanded to know more and thanked her for saving this lost innocent creature.

Part 2

The kitten was so smol with bones sticking out from under her skin. The poor little thing was covered in ticks and ravenously hungry. She took the lil girl home with her and her daughter, gave the baby cat a bath, removed all the ticks, and fed her. Though the TikToker says she's a “feisty” one and is still warming up to her, you can tell the kitten already seems so much happier. The abandoned kitty was able to find a home, no matter how difficult she was to get or how feral she was behaving.
