Woman Spends a Cold Night in an Alley Way to Save the Runaway Sickly Feral Kitten Who they had Just Rescued Days Earlier

These two women started to care for a stray cat colony in their backyard. They food them, and when needed, will shelter and treat them. Most of them come and go as they please and the women will see them regularly for the feeding time. In their TikToks they call these stray cats feral, but most of them seem to be lovingly stray cats who not only enjoy pets and scratches, but will push their way towards you in order to get them.

Their most recent rescue, however, is a feral kitten they named Mishu. This little guy will not let them get near him and will hide and hiss and runaway from them when they approach. They rescued Mishu from a litter they found in the freezing cold. Unfortunately, he was the only one to survive while his siblings froze. With such a tragic story, these two women were not about to give up on Mishu, no matter how aggressive he was towards them. (Also, how intimidating can a tiny kitten be?) He did, however, respond to their sweetest rescue cat, DeAndrea. When they brought this kitty out, Mishu started meowing and cam right up to him trying to cuddling his head onto him.

Mishu & DeAndre Meet

Mishu wasn't looking very healthy, however, so they took him to the vet and found out he had many treatable medical issues. So they started him on those treatments right away and had to quarantine him from the other kitties—even though he was only responsive to them and still wary of the humans.

One day, to get Mishu out of the house, they collared him up and took him on a leashed walk down the street. However, he was able to wiggle out of the collar and escaped. Before panicking, one of the women was able to spot him behind a fence and was confident they would be able to lure him out.

Trying to Rescue Mishu with DeAndre

The food wasn't working as a lure and Mishu would not budge behind the fence, so they decided to bring DeAndre over to see if Mishu would come out for him. Mishu seemed to be obsessed with DeAndre back home, so the women had home. However, as they were using DeAndre a loud noise happened near by and spooked DeAndre under a house. So now two of their kitties were on the loose.

This instantly made the girls start to panic and they spent several more hours trying to find these babies. Eventually, DeAndre came out from under a house covered in spiderwebs and snuggled right up to one of the women who quickly proceeded to take him back home. The wind was picking up and the temperature dropping, so the women had to figure something out quickly for Mishu. They tried to wait patiently for him to come to them, but every time he'd get even a little close and they'd reach for him, he'd run off again.

Spending the Night in an Alley to Try and Save Mishu

These women are not giving up, and one of them decided they had to spend the night in the alley way to make sure they were there for Mishu. “Obviously, sleeping in an alley is not ideal, but I don't want to go home and something happens to [Mishu] and what if I could've been here?” she says in her latest TikTok of the situation. “I was confident we would've caught him by now, but we haven't…”

That is the latest video so far of the situation, but viewers are hanging on by a thread. What a cliff hanger! Did she spend the entire night watching over Mishu in the alley? Was she able to save him before the sun rose and a storm rolled in? Mishu is missing his medication treatments every hour that passes while he's away from the women, so they are getting desperate to save him. It just goes to show you how far cat lovers will go for their sweet kittens, even if that tiny baby cat is feral and wants nothing to do with you.
