TikToker Sarah aka @moomoo.farms was simply participating in one of the more recent TikTok trends going around. People share an experince from their past and then follow it up with a quote that was common for the people they would encounter in that area—all set to the cheesy 1985 song “Miami, My Amy” by Keith Whitley. Sarah shared an experience of her growing up in the ‘90s and having fond memories of going to the local deli with her mom so her mom could get cigarettes (totally normal mom thing for the ’90s) and getting treated like a princess by the deli owner. She looked so happy in the photo and nostalgic remembering those times, that TikTokers couldn't take it anymore—they insisted she return to the deli and reunite with the owner that she used to hang out with and get free candy from.

Only days after she posted the story started going wild and she decided to follow the words of her viewers and go back. She commented, “LOL I’m nervous but I’m gonna go there tomorrow.” She went to the store and found out that it was still owned by the same person. However, he was not there that day. So she had to return another day. She did, however, talk to the two employees who were there and were the ones to confirm that the owners were still the same, and they said the owner will be there around 6am the next day and for her to come back then. She obviously was dedicated at this point and made sure to make the early morning journey.

Update Part 2 (Reunited)

Her viewers are not stoked to see their reunion. “Going back to my favorite childhood store years later and the owner being just as sweet as I remember,” she said in her final update video. The wholesome reunion wasn't just for a photo op, the two caught up and the deli owner was super excited to see her. He told her to share photos of his own children on her next TikTok about their reunion and to say he also owns a Hallmark store at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Times Square NYC

The reunion is really quite heartfelt, especially, knowing that it was in NYC which gets a rep for being mean and crude. But in actuality, people are kind hearted and can become happy core memories in a child's mind.
