Farmer Goes Viral for Video of His Amish Coworker's Wholesome Reaction to 'Weird Al' Yankovic's "Amish Paradise"

The Amish live life harmlessly and keep things simple. They're found most around the U.S. in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana though technically they're all over the country. They're most well-known for their rejection of electricity and their amazing farmer's markets where they sell fruits, veggies, pies, etc. They work often times side-by-side with everyone in their community, not just their Amish community. People who live in areas where there is a large Amish population are familiar with this and are used to seeing horse-drawn buggies trotting down their roads or picking up a pie and jam at the Amish farmer's market.

TikToker Zack Tidrick recently went viral for sharing a video he took of his Amish co-worker. Tidrick works on a farm and often with his Amish co-worker. They seem to have a friendly relationship, so Tidrick teased him by playing “Weird Al” Yankovic's famous “Gangster's Paradise” spoof, “Amish Paradise.” The reaction his co-worker had was simply wholesome—he says no words, but his expressions say it all.

The video starts with the music playing and Tidrick's Amish co-worker pausing when he starts to realize what the lyrics are saying. As he listens, he starts to give surprised looks at Tidrick as the lyrics start to process. With every new line, Tidrick's co-worker looks more and more shocked. But don't worry, it's a fun shocked. The two shared a laugh the entire time.

"Amish Paradise"

The Amish man doesn't say a word, but he's obviously tickled by the song. After going insanely viral with the video, getting almost 5 million views, Tidrick has shared more videos of his Amish coworker. The man still does not say a word, and yet the internet is completely in love with him. There are even viewers commenting saying how handsome he looks. Though the viewers are absolutely in love with this Amish man, they're also confused how he can eat but they never see him swallow.

“The fact that he is winning the internet without saying anything and eating is everything,” one viewer commented. “He gives us so little but SO MUCH,” another viewer adds. “We need more Amish tik tok,” many commenters demand. Will, #AmishTok become a viral thing even though the Amish don't use the internet? It seems like these viewers are making it so.
