All he needs is a top hat and a cane and soon you'll see his name in marquee lights!
Birds evolved from dinosaurs, so they've been on this earth a very long time. It's no surprise that their most recent evolutions was downsizing and then talking. But now we're seeing them dance and sing! Chris the cockatoo is going famous on TikTok for just that.
21-year-old umbrella cockatoo Chris is the star of the show. Whenever his mom gives him an item like a pen or straw he twirls it around like a baton and does a little dancey dance with it. It's as if he was previously owned by the one and only Fred Astaire and they were planning on being dancing partners. Heck, maybe he's Fred Astaire reincarnated! The little guy goes viral often on TikTok for bringing joy to people with his optimism and fun little musical routines. Sometimes his videos are even paired with fun songs like “All Shook Up” by Elvis Presley or “Lollipop” by the Chordettes. He even went viral for showing off how he loves to play fetch with a plastic hanger. This little guy is just a constant source of entertainment—he was made for the stage!
Chris' mom got him when he was still a baby, or should I say Chris got her. She was at a pet store for work, and when Chris spotted her he latched onto her and wouldn't let go. So it was love at first sight and they've been inseparable ever since. His mom makes sure to take him out often to keep him socialized with humans and stimulated by his environment. Cockatoos live to a very old age, and it seems like most of his life has been filled with love and showmanship.
His little dance routine is simply adorable. He's handy a small item and instantly knows what to do. He starts waving it around and smiling while bopping his head along to the melody. Seriously—give this little guy a top hat and a cane, and he'd be a star on broadway!
