Robert Irwin, Son of Steve Irwin, Just Got His Own TikTok and Millennials are Freaking Out Over Him Being the Spitting Image of His Late Father

The loss of Steve Irwin, the great wildlife educator and infamous crocodile wrangler, truly broke the hearts of millions back in 2006. He was taken from the world too early and left behind a wife and two children. His good deeds for the environment and its animals have never been forgotten and he truly left a mark on the hearts of many millennials who grew up watching his show.

Since his tragic passing, no one has ever been able to fill his shoes in the world of wildlife education. Perhaps the universe was waiting for his children to grow up, because now his son, Robert Irwin, is all grown up and a spitting image of his father.

“G’day TikTok, welcome to my official account! This is gonna be fun!”

Robert Irwin followed his dad's footsteps and now works for the Australia Zoo. He's constantly going on adventures in the wild terrains of his country and he is fearless yet respectful when it comes to approaching wildlife—just like his father. He also just got a TikTok and it feels like he is now teaching children about nature and wildlife who are around the same age as millennials were when his father was doing the same thing.

“Another good day in paradise”

“Happy 21st birthday to Widya the elephant 🎉 We love our elephant family!”

The way he treats the wildlife he works with like family is beautiful and perfectly on brand for the Irwin family. He not only shows that it is possible to cohabitate on this planet in a peaceful way with these animals, but he also educates his viewers about these magnificent creatures. Fans of Steve Irwin can't help but watch Robert Irwin's TikToks and feel like his father is watching him full of pride from the sky.

His work is not the only thing similar to his father, but also the way he talks. Just like Steve Irwin, Robert Irwin is always saying his father's iconic lines, and it sounds completely natural to him. It's obvious he's not just saying it as some nostalgic throwback like others who say it do, it sounds as if his father is there with him. Seriously crying right now.

Just look at how he handles this random snake he came across driving in the night. He stops, speaks to it like it's his own child, approaches is without even putting shoes on, and picks it up like the snake was waiting for him too. He even drives with the little guy chillin on his lap for a while.

Millennials are feeling a lot of things seeing Robert Irwin on TikTok. One viewer said, “I think this is the best thing. You can inspire and educate kids through this platform that are the same age as we all were watching discovery channel.” Another said, “You are definitely your fathers son! So great to see 🥰” While another wrote somehow very emotionally, "God it’s like watching your dad all over again. 🥺"
