Boomer Mechanic is Forced to Listen to Anime Intro Music When Customer Doesn't Realize Their Phone is Still Connected

We all know the normal routine for getting your car looked at. You bring it in to the garage, usually owned by some old dude, talk with a mechanic, and then leave your car with them and return in an hour or so. You take what you need out of the car and live your life car-less for a few hours. The mechanic does their magic and then you're good to go. Nowadays, however, there are a lot of wireless components to cars that don't have a physical thing connecting you to the car reminding you that you're still with the car, even if you're not physically with it.

Popular TikToker and musician Addison Grace recently posted a video recounting a hilarious embarrassing moment when they went to get their car fixed. They dropped their car off and carried on, like normal. They wanted to listen to anime intro music through the privacy of their phone, but could not get the speaker to work. They could not figure out what was wrong for the longest time. They kept turning up their anime intro music and nothing.

Eventually it clicked: They had left their phone connected via bluetooth to their car and kept blasting the anime music through the speakers…. They weren't there face to face, but can only image the older man mechanic working on their car in more confusion than they even were trying to figure out their phone speaker business. The song specifically was the intro from Jujitsu Kaisen.

Can you imagine being that boomer mechanic? Just trying to do the job you've been doing for years, and then some crazy anime intro music just starts blasting through the speakers. LOL And every time you go to turn it down or off, it just keeps getting remotely turned back on and on full volume. LMAO I hope that mechanic went home and discovered the entertaining world of anime.

“Lesson from the wise : turn off your bluetooth before getting your car fixed.”

Anime fans and mechanics are loving the video. One mechanic even posted in the comments, “I work in the automotive industry. Had a customer that was playing music and just happened to have the demon slayer opening. Best day ever.” A former tire tech added to the comment and said this used to happen to them all the time. I think this means that one day you'll walk into a garage and instead of classic rock, you'll hear anime intro songs.
