2d note :) Another one that ended abruptly was Farscape which we also loved but that movie I did not think was as good and kind of a contrived ending. Makes me realize we have not gotten into very many Sci Fi series since those and those are ancient :)

Having just gone through something similar with Elder Auntie, I can totally sympathize with the hard decisins one has to make for loved ones sometimes. Right after we moved here she fell and fractured her hip in the assisted living facility in WA and after talking to the ortho surgeon and given the fact she had heart problems making surgery risky, had dementia and was almost 92 I made the difficult and painful decision to put her in hospice care where the wondeful nurses helped her pass painlessly and painlessly within a week. Hardest thing I have had to do for a long, long time. I think we are guided from above sometimes to help us with these difficult things in life. Other than that we, the kittehs and MIL are so very happy here :) And I am happy to be able to spend time here again,. http://cheezburger.com/7821409024

LOL about the hospital food! There are so many spices that have healthful benefits but hospital dieticians don't seen to know any of them. It's good that your Mom is being a 'trooper'. We were lucky with my Mom that way. She actually volunteered to be a guinea pig for new drug studies and therapies.

Thank you for the update about your mom, my friend. I just saw it. I know that had to be a very difficult decision for all and I'm sorry it had to come down to that for you and your family.
