Incompetent Manager Tries To Blame Employee For His Own Use of Comic Sans

There are some employees who stick around because they do good work, and there are others whose longevity stems from their ability to blame everyone else for screw ups. This manager tried to get after a certain employee when he should have realized the mistake was his own, and it just proved his own incompetence. People have problems with technology, like this customer who thought electronic payment worked by putting checks into their computer.

Working As A Wild Animal Tech (Viral Thread)

When we think of jobs that we would love to have in the future, since we're animal lovers, they tend to always involve animals. But even more so, as people who love watching animals run wild and be themselves, who love reading stories about animals being released back into the wild, living where they should, we never managed to name exactly what job we would love to have... Until we came across this viral thread by a wild animal technician.

Now, we know exactly what animal related job we would love to have. This one looks like an absolute dream, and we are both jealous and, at the same time, really grateful for all the work ZooWithMegLu does and for her sharing some of her stories working as a wild animal tech.

Robotics company Boston Dynamics went viral today after sharing a video of several of their robots dancing to The Contours' "Do You Love Me?" The video, which garnered a lot of attention on Twitter, is thought by some to reduce the intimidating nature of the machines. While we are still a bit weird about robots, the most intimidating thing about them was their super sick moves. It's a sad day when a robot can out-dance you, but these are the times we live in.

Google Crash Causes Temporary Panic On Twitter

This morning Google was temporarily down all over the world causing widespread panic and concern as people tried to check work emails and join Monday morning meetings on Google Meet. The masses unsurprisingly took to Twitter, many joking and memeing about the absurdity of trying to google why Google was down, while others embraced the crash as a welcomed break from work or school duties. Although the crash only lasted under an hour, the instant reaction on social media is indicative of how much the world depends on communication tools like Gmail, especially in a time where millions are still working from home. Maybe a sign that we should diversify a bit?

We've collected some of the most amusing tweets from the meltdown on Twitter.

Unsettling Twitter Thread Illustrates Just How Much Info Big Tech Companies Own About Us

We're all aware that big tech corporations store an insane amount of information about us, but it's probably safe to say that most of us weren't aware of the sheer vastness of it all (think literal millions of pages per person). Dylan Curran, Director of Technology at VFT Solutions, took it upon himself to investigate the amount of information that Google and Facebook have about him, and let's just say...what he found is unsettling to say the least.

As millennials on the older side of the generation, we were actually lucky to have experienced life before the internet was used for everything. It's definitely built character and probably lent us a little extra resourcefulness. Sometimes we feel like our grandparents talking about walking a mile in the snow to school when we talk about the days before smartphones, and this little text exchange between a post-millennial and an older, wiser person will show you exactly why.

Someone Made An AI Powered Machine Out Of Lego That Sorts Lego (GIFs)

Remember that big box of Lego you had as a child that was filled with hundreds of different styles of Lego and twenty Lego men and women from Darth Vader to scuba divers? Trying to sort those boxes would have been impossible. That's probably what Daniel West experienced before he built his Universal Lego Sorting Machine from Lego. It uses artificial intelligence to sort the Lego pieces and we all want one for our ahem nieces and nephews.

This Woman Makes Hilarious Sh*tty Robots (8 GIFs)

We all know that there's high comedic value in fails. Especially when the things that are failing are not meant to fail... like robots. Simone Gietrz makes robots that have potential but were never really meant to succeed, and watching Simone "use" them will make you laugh harder than anything else you have seen today. Promise. You should probably just watch all of her hilarious videos on her YouTube channel. If you like to watch things exploding, check out NASA's test megarocket fuel tank exploding with liquid nitrogen. It's pretty cool.
