We're happy that people take it upon themselves to warn other people of the world's potential dangers. It's just sometimes the signs themselves get the better of us and give us extra chills. Some aren't even intentionally scary. Let's face it, there are some ominous signs out there that are just too good at being spooky.
It just keeps going and going and going. There is a lot going on here. The internet is absolutely bursting with so called "nice guys" freaking out at alarmed women that it's a little more rare to see the guy having to escape from dangerous dates. Seriously, there are a lot of disastrous dates with nice guys.
Someone on AskReddit asked for truckers to share their spookiest experiences from being out on the road. Things have a tendency to get real creepy on those long and winding dark highways throughout the night. Never know what kind of devilish, WTF sh*t you might drive across.
This guy asked the people of Reddit whether or not he was a jerk for asking his neighbor "Katie" to factor him in for her daily homemade meal regimen. Apparently he lost one of his part-time gigs and not being able to afford takeout, figured this was the next best bet. My dude, begging your neighbor for cheap homemade meals is not the way to handle business. Sounds like she was offended, and can you really blame her?
Your brain looks for context cues, and some places and times just don't have enough of them for you to know how to act. Kinda makes sense. Some other explanations would be that you don't hang out at bowling alleys a lot, have social anxiety or just dislike creepy-ass abandoned buildings. That said, the concept of liminal spaces are interesting. Tumblr can be a rabbit hole, full of fun history and imaginative threads on aliens being fought off by bears.
Someone on AskReddit asked for people who served in the military to share their creepiest, most paranormal experiences. The following stories are chilling to the bone. Nothing quite as spooky as being out in the middle of the ocean, and seeing what look like abandoned or (unfortunately) inhabited boats eerily floating around. Or how about being sober and clearheaded as you've ever been, and seeing unexplainable flashing lights up in the sky? Yikes.
What episode of Black Mirror is this? Just a little unsettling to read through the tidal wave of comically wholesome feedback in the comments section. Looks like the world of Facebook users in this particular scenario have nothing but great thing to say about the Zuck.
